About Us

Handmade with Hugo is a small business based in the heart of Devon. During the first Covid lockdown we sadly lost both our beloved dogs; a 12yo German Pointer and a 10yo White Boxer. We were devastated. 
Shortly after, a black Labrador puppy arrived and we named him Hugo. Like all puppies, he needed a lot of entertaining and someone introduced us to snuffling. I’d never used enrichment products before and soon we were hooked!

I found that the quality of the toys I had bought not always good, both in the way they were put together and the quality of the polar fleece. I started experimenting and after a few months had lots of requests from friends, Handmade with Hugo was born!

We’ve had so much positive feedback from customers and friends. Now we’ve developed some unique products too.
